A urinalysis test machine that designed to be used in public restrooms. It provides a quick test result. To use the system, users scan the QR code on the display screen with their phone, make an online payment, take a test kit from the dispenser, conduct the test, and then scan the test kit to receive the test report immediately on their phone.

Innovation Consulting
We aim to create an innovative self-service health and medical device. We started from conducted thorough research on the existing self-service devices in the market. We then conducted a functional analysis on each part of the product, developed a product concept, and finally put together a complete product system architecture.
Industrial Design
After three rounds of draft designs cycles, FNI industrial designers created over twenty appearance schemes, ultimately delivered the optimal design. After analyzing user and business requirements, our interactive experience team approached the design from five dimensions: product aesthetics, practicality, environmental friendliness, cost-effectiveness, and manufacturability to complete the product design. Our structural designers optimized the internal structure of the product by overcoming the appearance constraints, meeting the product performance, and controlling of the manufacturing costs. As the result, our design can store 3-5 times more products than ordinary self-service machine, with simpler restocking operations and the machine's operational success rate is up to 99.9%.
Software and Hardware Development
At product development phase, the software and hardware development teams validated the specifications and facilitate engineering integration. We’ve selected a more compatible electric motor from numerous available models. Customized Android based system were developed to eliminate not needed hardware to reduce costs. Through implementation of IoT technology and software optimization, we’ve developed smart maintenance capability for the product.
Product Manufacturing
FNI managed the supply chain in the following areas: material confirmation, prototype review and audit, procurement quotation assessment, supplier and processing evaluations, and pre-production component inspections to ensure the supply chain quality. When the mass production start, we facilitate the manufacturing process between different production parties to make sure we meet the manufacturing quality and delivery schedule.
